Modérer sa consommation de curcuma si l'on cherche à optimiser sa force physique et sa

what it claims

Moderate your turmeric consumption if you are looking to optimize your physical strength and libido, as high doses might risk blocking the conversion of testosterone into DHT, a key hormone for male vigor.

mixed

Turmeric contains curcumin, a compound whose ability to block the enzyme responsible for DHT production is well-documented, but primarily at a preclinical level.

noli's read

Turmeric contains curcumin, a compound whose ability to block the enzyme responsible for DHT production is well-documented, but primarily at a preclinical level. In vitro studies on cell cultures, notably published in the scientific journal In Vivo, do indeed confirm this theoretical inhibitory action. However, there are currently no randomized controlled trials (RCTs) or observational studies in humans proving that turmeric consumption decreases circulating DHT or alters libido and muscular power. Furthermore, curcumin naturally exhibits very low bioavailability, which strongly limits its systemic effects in the body without the addition of assimilation agents. Conversely, small clinical trials on male vitality suggest instead that there are beneficial effects on antioxidant markers and general well-being. While the caution shared by the creator is based on a very real biological mechanism in a test tube, its extrapolation to human physical performance and desire lacks concrete foundation.
