Réaliser des séances d'oxygénothérapie hyperbare (HBOT)

what it claims

Follow a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) protocol of 60 sessions (90 minutes at 2 ATM, 5 times per week) in a hard-shell chamber to eliminate systemic inflammation and optimize one's biological profile (measurable by hsCRP).

mixed

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) at high pressure (2 ATM) is generating significant interest for regulating the body's global inflammatory response.

noli's read

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) at high pressure (2 ATM) is generating significant interest for regulating the body's global inflammatory response. A systematic review of the literature (published in The Effects of Hyperbaric Oxygenation) confirms that hyperoxia under pressure helps regulate cytokines and lower inflammation markers such as C-reactive protein. Furthermore, several randomized controlled trials (RCT) validate the positive impact of compressed oxygen in stimulating cellular regeneration and optimizing recovery. Nevertheless, the vast majority of these high-level-of-evidence studies focus on situations of acute physiological stress or marked tissue imbalances. The idea of completely 'neutralizing' inflammation in an already healthy individual via such an intensive protocol stems primarily from the highly publicized self-experimentation (n=1) of Bryan Johnson. While the regulatory effect of HBOT on biomarkers is real, the value of accumulating 60 sessions for general well-being has not yet been the subject of large observational studies or clinical trials on healthy populations.
