The idea of using Fadogia agrestis to boost male hormonal balance relies solely on a preliminary study conducted on rodents (Yakubu et al., 2005) that observed an increase in testosterone. However, to date, there are no clinical studies on humans to confirm these effects on vitality or to evaluate the safety of this plant. Furthermore, other work on animal models (Yakubu et al., 2008 and 2009) revealed risks of cellular toxicity that could impair the well-being of the testes, liver, and kidneys. Although the suggested cycling protocol is inspired by the partial recovery observed in animals at low doses, this specific alternation method has never been scientifically validated in humans. In the absence of rigorous clinical data, this dosage and this pause strategy therefore remain purely speculative.
