The concept of applying peptides directly to the scalp is promising, as these short chains of amino acids support hair structure and vitality. A randomized controlled trial (RCT) published in the Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery (2025) indeed showed that daily use of a peptide serum helps reduce the appearance of hair loss and promotes a feeling of increased density. Likewise, another RCT published in Taylor & Francis (2019) supports the claim that a topical biomimetic peptide complex visibly improves hair appearance after three months of use. However, the idea that a peptide shampoo can be effective with only two minutes of contact time is largely exaggerated. Due to their molecular size, peptides require prolonged contact to be absorbed by the scalp, and there is no solid evidence or RCT validating the efficacy of a quickly rinsed product. Finally, the specific Blueprint formulation combining eight peptides has not yet been the subject of independent, published studies to prove its superiority.
