This eleven-item list is nearly a word-for-word version of the "symptom bingo" health journalists have documented under the #CortisolTok label: fatigue, bloating, sugar cravings, night waking, brain fog — nearly universal experiences that are almost always nonspecific. The endocrinologist interviewed by The Cut (Cleveland Clinic) and the Acibademe hospital group both stress that these symptoms overlap heavily with anxiety, thyroid disease, poor sleep, or simply modern life, and prove nothing without repeated biological testing. Genuine cortisol excess (Cushing's) is recognized by a much more specific combination — easy bruising, new high blood pressure, muscle weakness, purple stretch marks — none of which appear here. The format ("comment CORTISOL for more") is a classic engagement hook funneling toward content or products. Verdict: exaggerated — the symptoms are real as common human experiences, but their blanket attribution to cortisol is not.
